Because people are jealous. I'm not saying I've ever been a victim of gorgeousness, but I certainly have felt jealousy before. It's not a good feeling, and I've only recently been able to banish it. It's a very tough thing to live with.

I agree. However, it seems as if there are two stereotypes about girls and makeup. If you wear none at all, you're lazy and don't know how to take care of yourself. If you wear a lot of makeup, you're vain and snooty. You can have beautiful features that are natural, but it's sad how most people think that all beautiful human features are artificial. I myself have long hair, so someone I know asked me if I was wearing extensions or anything once(even though it's real!). It was so awkward.

Oh, gosh...tell me about it, there was a couple of times I was labelled as a "jock bully who picks on nerds and other social outcasts" (like Jim Keaton from Edward Scissorhands or Gaston from Beauty and the Beast) by the Harry Potter/Twilight/fantasy fantards, just because I practiced mixed martial arts (MMA), had a broad shoulder and a firm stomach, even though I used those fighting techniques I developed for the good like giving the actual outcasts a hand when they need help the most and fighting the actual bullies picking on them for being "different". In fact, I hate all of these stereotypes against men whose bodies are built like Greco-Roman wrestlers, BJJ experts, or Muay Thai champions. Not all of us are big, dumb brutes with no brain. -_-;

People are always clamoring to get me to eat more at lunch 'cuz I'm pretty skinny but I'm not anorexic. I don't even really think I'm all that skinny, there are skinnier people out there, but I'm happy with my size (it fits me), anyway, I prefer small, frequent meals 'cuz it's healthier for you/keeps your metabolism high, so while I only eat a bagel and a cheesestick at my schools designated "lunch time" I'm always eating little snacks on the side just to keep me going.
And I've had people assume bad things about me because of my looks too. I wouldn't say I'm a supermodel, but lots of people say I'm really pretty, so...
And I know it's hard for people that don't feel like they are beautiful, and it's unfortunately, quite natura to be jealous, but really, I personally think that kindness and intelligence are more important than looks.

A lot of people judge others, I have a 4"10, stick thin friend with curves, I love her so much, she is Georges and beautiful, she doesn't get why girls glare at her, because in her own mind, she doesn't find herself /that/ attractive, people automatically assume she is anorexic just because she is skinny and vegetarian she is just all around small, and living a very healthy lifestyle. People need to realize that in fact we are all the same, and we all have insecurities, one girl might think the other looks more pretty, but n fact, doesn't find herself at all. the world is one big pot of misunderstanding.
