I do not object to jokes about rape, although I personally have never heard one that made me laugh.I do not object to the portrayal of rape in fictional works per se, although I do think it can become a cheap device to add unnecessary drama.
I do not object to rape fantasy and roleplay, although they turn me off.
What I DO object to is using the word βrapeβ to mean sex or f*ck. They are not the same. I understand that people speak in hyperbole and exaggerations, like "I'm going to kill him." But rape is a violent act that has nothing to do with love.

I was looking through Gerita fanfics one day and then I came across one that utterly disgusted me. It featured rape and there was no consent in it. I agree with you. I myself am NOT a victim of rape, and i'm thankful for that of course, but it is one of my phobias. I have had nightmares where I would be kidnapped and raped, and I hate seeing rape jokes, especially that one where a man with a deep voice says,"Its raping time!"
No.. j-just no.... rape is NOT funny people! Its a serious crime, VERY serious. I heard that some victims of rape (both men and women) wished that they died in the process, and some people I heard have actually died in the process (its rare for that to happen though). Its a horrible thing, and people are glamorizing it. What if someone makes a rape joke to a person who WAS raped and they would remember the pain and suffering they had to experience?
Another thing I hate is seeing people make canon characters in shows, books, etc. rape their OCs. WTF!? NU. BAD. *sigh*
