Another picture I promised to for her b-day. Ever since I uploaded my stick figure Rorouni Kenshin b-day card, she asked me for one, so here it is. This is my take on Angel Sanctuary.For those of you who aren't familiar with this series, don't worry, I don't know much about it either. All I know is that it's some story of a fallen angel reincarnated as a human (hence the wings) who falls in love with his sister... yes. Incest. I'm not into that sort of thing any more than I am into yaoi and the like, but who am I to judge?
The bridal dress in question is actually a reference to Phantom of the Opera (movie). Anyone who've seen it knows what I'm talking about. I was going to mention the basement, but alas, I ran out of room on the card.

This comic made me chuckle, but I can only advice you to read the manga or at least watch the anime.
Especially the manga is really deep and shows some things, which you probably won't like to see, but are not as far-fetched as they seem.

Well, I can't argue against that. No one can accurately judge a series without seeing/know it. However, to be fair, I only did this comic because I promised my friend this Angel Sanctuary themed birthday card. And being that I had no prior knowledge except what I read about it long ago, this was the ending result. I'm sure it has some profound in-sight that no other series dare tread into due to the way society is structured today, but as it stands, I'm not exactly eager to look into the series either. If an opportunity presents itself where I wouldn't have to purchase the series to review it, then I may take a look. Still, I appreciate your comment in that even if you disagree with me, you didn't try to attack me. So thanks.

this was one of the earliest anime titles I came across! I didn't know what so ever about anime, and I picked it inoccently and SO randomly based on the beautiful art... and I was scarred for life @_@
really! for the 3 episodes I had a ( O____O) face,,i didn't know is it THIS THING being TOO ...well,,it was not my thing at all!!! or was it anime in general(yeah ! I was that terrified!!) and I ran to tell Ishimaruk21 and she was like :^^ ~ Poor thing!
anyhow! COugh! I learned that anime reviews sites were found for a reason and friends recomendation did me alot of good and helped me get over my first shock XD
I love your alternaive ending way more! it kinda makes sense unlike the actual series! and I find your stick figures TOTALLY ADORABLE >__<

uh... what episodes? i thought the only AS anime in existence was the OVA. and btw, i wouldn't watch the anime if i were you. it's based loosely on the manga and the art just completely pales in comparison to the original art. also. since i am a big fan of AS and kaori yuki i feel like i need to stick up for her and the series. sure, the plotline and characters are a lot more complex, not to mention darker, than your stereotypical shojo manga, but it mostly definitely MAKES SENSE (in the very least). once again, i recommend you reading the manga first before putting AS down.

Kira's amazing... but sara likes setsuna tooo.. lol not rape. just weird... there's actually a reason behind it; his previous incarnation alexiel was loved by her twin brother but she (supposedly) didn't love him back, so when she reincarnated... eheheh...
Setsuna's past incarnation's always had troubled love lives but this one is definitely the most messed up, but also the most true.

Yeah, I read a little about that on Wikipedia. It's beautiful art, but it's just not my thing. Not so much as the incest, but the whole God concept. Religion always confuses me, so I'd rather just read a simplier story.

I love it because the whole plot is so intricate, and everything has a nuance that makes you go "OMG I get it now!" when you get to certain parts. the villain. everyone else no matter how evil-seeming has some redemptive qualities or other, but God is the only one who is totally screwed up. he's a creepy super-computer. kira/lucifer chooses to die to destroy 'god' to save setsuna/alexiel who he loves, in spite of everything... funny how the devil is one of the most popular, loveable, and good characters... lol

eheh.. it's not an anime; it's an OVA series 3 episodes long. the manga being 20 volumes, they had a bit of trouble fitting stuff in; as such, it's hella confusing and not worth watching.
