Please forgive me for not having posted in a while. I have been very busy at work, having been going in four days a week for the past month and a half. I have had difficulty motivating myself in posting new artwork, and this sketch, dated early February, is not all that newly drawn.

This portrait begins the finale to my nostalgia saga. All seven of the Legendary are together for the first time in unknown ages: Three on the heroes' side and four on the villains' (The Dream Stone was a challenge to color, btw). Bowser and Wart have teamed up to take on their common enemies, and little does anyone realize what is in store for either side during the battle. The implications are quite serious . . . but the conclusion is quite comical!

In the Mario & Luigi series, there has always been heavy stress on the final battle; whether it be Cackletta, the Princess Shroob sisters, the Dark Star, Fawful, Antasma, or Bowser . . . sometimes in multiple phases. In this tussle, however, there is more stress on certain actions that take place during the battle.
