Description Caller Crags, Northumberland

The name 'Caller' is a Scottish / Northern dialect word meaning fresh, cool and air, its perfect for these crags!

These rocks fascinate me, perched at the top of a hill overlooking a valley, there are a few examples of 'cup and rings marks' which are a form of prehistoric art carved into them in different places, I'm definitely going to spend more time up there.

More info about these crags if anyone is interested : [link]

hehe, being unsure of what 'com caras en las rocas' meant, i thought i would get google to translate it, according to that, you said "com rock faces" so ,errr, thanks!

significa - with faces in the rocks! - pero, I kind of strung it together. Google says it should read 'con caras en las rocas'!!! I was correcto ... except that I have been saying com instead of con so no todovia correcto. Darn it.

Love the diagonal rock taking up half the photo, and the other rocks leading you to the horizon; nice browns and greens.
Just a shaft of light on that rock and you've got a prize winning photo!

Thanks a lot for your comment and fav Malcolm, I like that diagonal rock too, I thought it was a little different! I was hoping to get that shaft of light but it never appeared, I'll be back to this location as I think it offers plenty of potential!
