Description
One of my more intricate pin pieces.Black polymer clay face dusted with red mica powder. Ab Crystals and seed beads make up the foliage she is peeking through.

I don't have a tutorial for that one yet....but it''s pretty simple to do...
1. take some stiffened felt (most craft stores have this) and glue a polymer clay fac on it. Scuplty makes a neat art doll face mold that you can use to make this exact face.
2. Sew a bunch of beads around the face, thru the felt.
3. Trim around the felt as close as you can to the beads, but not thru the threads.
4. Cut out an exact copy of the shape you cut out with the beads and face on it, out of the felt.
5. Cut two slits in the second piece, to slide the pin back thru. Put both sides together to hide the pin back and the sewing on the face side. Put a thin layer of glue between the two halfs, and whip stitch the edges to hold it all together.

You make the faces yourself before you wrap them?
(I'm asking, because I don't think I'd have any talent at all with poly-clay work .. )
