I cant believe what has happened. Ive been a member since early 2005. I never really spent much time here untill early 2006 and now i am coming to realize that this community has been taken over by a greedy bastard. How would $spyed feel if you came up to him, kicked him in the balls and stole his baby. after all that he starts to whore your baby out for what little cash he can get while you sit on the sidelines forced to watch. for the reason alone i dont think i will ever suscribe to DA now knowing where my money would go. into the pokets of fat greedy pig that has no right to claim he is the founder and discredit the people that actually did.
Shame on spyed. this info makes me very sad and worried about the state of DA.
I dont know if youve ever thought of creating another community but i would be right there with you. Im not saying you should walk away from your baby with out a fight. definetly not. you better fight till the bitter end, but in the mean time why not try this all agian. learn from your mistakes and make it bigger and better. Im sure many people would come with you, im sure of it. Im sorry that horrible things like this happens but all you can do is rise above and show them that you are right, one way or another.
I support you Jark and will follow you till the bitter end!

I believe all such evidence presented here, should be placed into the respective journals of those who supplied it, so as to cause some kind of movement...the current movement in either direction accomplishes little more than to confuse people. If it were more public then such accusations would be more likely to meet the eyes of such people as Spyed . whether such attentons be the unrightful banning of users (bad move on his part) or met with conflicting evidence...
On an unrelated note...is that v1? Its amazing...much better than the current layout, and SO MUCH better than v5

the question is : why have you made this whole thing, making dA people a part of the thing, when dA people had nothing to do with the affair you had with the other da staff members ?
in other words, you proved me, and other people, that some persons were ready to follow someone's "fight" even if they don't know this "someone" and they don't have any clues about the "fight"
i mean there probably is a reason for you to be out of the site, i guess you should have faced it alone. or with people who are close to you.
it makes me sick to look at the favourites and the exposure you had out of something that wasn't concerning us.

He goddamn created this very site you're on... And if so, how come we shouldn't be involved ? If someone would steal your art,or for that very reason,your money,hard work,time spent... how'd you feel ? And those things are materialized ! In this very site ! Jark didn't want esposure or favs or whatever your pricky little mind might think... He just wanted justice ! That's all goddamn it ! And if you wouldn't be so damn blind you'd see it too ! just look around this "community" who's beeing offered exposure ? Those unknown guys burrowed deep in the bowels of dA ? Surely not ! But those who creep around damn and suck up admins or mods or whatever the fuck they are ! I believed that this was a community,but after a suggestion I made that I had a firm promise it would be solved didn't , i saw how much of a "community" dA really is !

This problem has been so twisted over the past few.. what... months? that its really hard to tell what is truth and what is made up of lies. Either way- I've done my bit of looking things up, and have made the choice that I stand behind Jark. Thanks for this piece- i really enjoyed reading it.

Okay so being new to DeviantART I really don't quite get this entire thing, but what I thought was kinda funny was that August 7th is my birthday, and nobody on any of these message boards ever noted THAT! so who really cares? If my Birthday isn't important enough than niether is some dumb rivalry. Let's just continue to live this "community" virtual lifestyle and just have fun! I know a site costs $$ to keep, but real art and community will make that anyway! So keep on postin' your messages and sending your artwork and feed the people who feed us (okay, so they feed our minds and we feed thier bellies, but... ) anyway, let's just be thankful to even have this little refuge where we can say what we want and do as we please (within reason) That's what we all really want anyway right?

Sorry, I only visit this place like... once a year or so nowadays.
It was a basic collapsing tree, like the one you have if you choose to "display folders" on "My computer" in windows.
