My home desktop computer, which I have had for quite some time now. Sometime in the next year I am going to forego this machine and get myself an Apple workstation. I adore my PowerBook and need something slightly more powerful and am yearning for a machine that is desktop based.The lower-right is a sneak preview of the business card that *excelsium has come up with. It is the front side of a two-sided, vertical, rounded-corner business card.

- AMD Athlon 3200 64bit Processor
- 512MB RAM (bumped up to 1GB)
- 200GB HDD (extra 160GB USB2 HDD)
- DVD-R/RW (extra Dual Layer DVD+-R/RW USB2)
- CDROM

Icons: GANT by mattahan
Miranda IM clist: jarkoliciously by me
Miranda IM Icons: Ripped from AdiumX by me (personal use)
Wallpaper: Havona by ANTIFAN-REAL
Miranda IM has been heavily modified by way of the following plug-ins: clist_nicer+, tweakui, tabsrmm and ieview. All can be found with a simple Google search.
Windows taskbar modified to make use of large icons in the quicklaunch area. This is standard Windows functionality and does not use any special software.

What do you mean with "feel it"? Impressions? Emotions? I think the wow-effect is important... and if then a closer look offers some nice details, it's great art (just in my point of view)

nah, i dislike autohide. i like having everything in plain view. makes for a much easier computing experience.

in my system boot menu, the OS are sorted like this:
1 - Fedora core 6
2 - Ubuntu
3 - Xubuntu (in the same partition as ubuntu)
4 - Rescue cd (a "konsole")
5 - Windows xD (idiot edition)

Indeed, I really do use Gentoo. Been using it for about 6 years now.
Of all the Linux distro's out there, Gentoo and Ubuntu are my favorites.

Yes I to long for a Mac. The prospect of the intel switch only allows the macs to run even more applications than it used to with its PowerPC brothers. still waiting for Universal apps to be more availlable but dang the possibilities and apparently you can skin OSX. my boss uses a skinned OSX desktop.

Not normally a fan of Stardock desktops, but this one is very impresssive. You forgot to mension you use some sort of nvidia gfx card

Nice setup. Your resolution makes me drool. I'm suck with a IBM Thinkpad R51. I actually prefer the windows classic view in XP. I'm weird that way. I just might have to try Miranda, Trillian sucks. I'm so glad to see a fellow Firefox user. Which theme do you use for Firefox? (I use Whitehart)
