Fifteen years have passed since the final defeat of the triumvirate formed by the Britain of Mosley, the France of Valois and the Italy of Mussolini (with anarcho-syndicalist Iberia and socialist Escandinavia as sideshows). The Second Weltkrieg ended the totalist threat if but also the Pax Germanica, the German Empire is no longer the sole superpower of the golden decade of the 20s, now it is one more among the great powers once again. Attacked by two fronts, only the opportune Danubian intervention prevented the defeat when the revolutionary enemy was at the gates of Berlin. Four years after the battle of Potsdam the use of the first atomic bombs on Bristol and Colchester not only led to the assasination of Mosley and the unconditional surrender of the Union of Britain, the last of the totalist states, it also convinced Savinkov to accept a status quo ante bellum in Eastern Europe (Bulgaria was not so fortunate, its current borders are the front at the time of the armistice, a small price to pay for wholes Ukraine and White Ruthenia in german minds).

While the agreements between the Entente and the then called Reichspakt: return of certain colonies in the Pacific and the reform of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland under the House of Windsor, a resolution to the situation in France has not come to fruition. With Germany determined not to allow France to be a threat again and the establishment of Victoria Luise of Prussia as queen in South Paris the partition between the puppet government of the Kingdom of France in the north and the Fourth Republic in the south appears to be permanent.

The weakened Germany spent the first postwar years in a period of reconstruction and went on to turn Mitteleuropa and the Reichspakt into the European Confederation by integrating the economies and armed forces of their former puppets and allies into a multinational force for defense against the Entente and Russia. With the proliferation of nuclear arsenals the possibility of a Third Weltkrieg terrifies Europe today.

In North America the Second Civil War ended with the victory of the American Union State led by Huey Long who would later be killed in a coup organized by the Silver Legion of Pelley. Currently the Commonwealth of America is a racist hellhole plagued by rebellions of African Americans in the Deep South and the remnants of the defeated sides in the civil war organized in the Constitutionalist Front. With the murder of Pelley and the outbreak of the war against the Pacific States, intervention by the great powers is increasingly likely.

With the victory of the Fourth International in the Great South American War, the syndicalism with Hispanic characteristics has emerged as an alternative to the already discredited communism and totalism. The Caribbean states, terrified by the presence of racists in the north and syndicalists in the south, have formed the so-called Havana Pact, an economic and military alliance to guarantee their survival.

In the African continent the former German colonies of Mittelafrika brought both men and resources to win the Weltkrieg and finally in 1958 the Reichstag fulfilled its promise and granted them independence in the form of the Mittelafrikan Union which is now experiencing an economic boom thanks to its integration into the Kaiserbund, the post-colonial organization formed by the old German colonies spread across the globe (from Morocco to Neuguinea Gott mit uns). The French Republic for its part has returned to its homeland initiating a process of federalization and integrating the colonies with significant white population.

In the Middle East the Ottoman Empire has fallen after six centuries; attacked by both the Cairo Pact (formed by Egypt, Hashemite Arabia, Persia, Somalia and Tripolitana), Greece and Savinkovist Russia, the Turks have been pushed to central Anatolia, forming the Republic of Turkey a hermit dictatorship that remains isolated from the outside world.

In India the triumphant Raj has reunited the subcontinent under the control of the British Empire. Meanwhile in the rest of Asia the Empire of Japan, the Republic of China, Tibet, Siam, the Philippines and Indonesia have formed an alliance of convenience against the aggression of the Eurasian Alliance of Russia, Korea and the resurgent Qing Empire and the attempts of the Entente and the European Confederation to restore the colonial order.

Now that the twentieth century enters its sixth decade, technology advances at a dizzying pace (a german and a danubian were the first men in space in 1958, with the promise of a man on the Moon before 1970). However, the Kalterkrieg can get hot at any moment and with the network of global alliances some damned foolish thing in the Balkans, or China, or France can provoke the outbreak of another global war.
