I think the black and white adds to the effect of having a chain fence in the background. Regal and captive... the once proud master of the forests of the night

Very dramtic with in b&w with the contrast. I like how you can make out the chain link fence in the bakground. Gives you a little something to think about...

I was nervous that people wouldn't like the fence because it isn't natural, but it's hard to get rid of the foreground fence and the background in one picture!

Thank you! He's a big beauty that's for sure. I was happy to see him up and alert, the (what I assume is a) female was asleep in the back exhibit when I was there.

You're very welcome. And sorry for these late replies again. The female, Tatiana, is getting older and just went through a surgery a few weeks ago. They wont be breeding them anymore which is unfortunate.

All of her hip joints were no good anymore, she was in a lot of pain. I believe they disconnected the nerves to the hip joints somehow for the back hips at least.
