ive thought about understea combat on several occations, never could come up with anything good. like ever.... and then you make THIS. and im like WOW. your creative as you are talented. i never thought of just modifying the concept of a fighter with sea appropriate fins, jets and usage of seadynamics

it runs a cat or worm drives in those wing pods under water, so no cavitation noise. Its a Silent runner... moved like a fighter underwater, can land and take off in water or off a carrier or ground base. Its interesting ideal, but the payload suffers due to added weight of water engines...

Supercavitation is a technology the Russians developed for torpedoes that allows them to use a rocket motor, giving them speeds of over 300kph underwater. It is an intentional cavitation that creates a sheath of air around the vessel, drastically reducing the friction of the water.

Supercavitation is where water bubbles around the craft, reducing resistance and enabling it to move faster than sound travels under water, which..given that most craft rely upon sonar, is a stealth bonus!

Not if the commissioner didn't...*Grins evilly*
Might keep it in mind for any submersible stuff you do, though it's most useful for sub-launched missiles and torpedoes.
Moving faster than sound, underwater, makes you effectively invisible, yes, but it also means you cannot see where you are going if you use sonar.

true... more likely the missiles it carries will have it...
