Description
So, long story short, my buddy Howard said something that sparked an idea in my head. He was kind enough to say 'go for it' to me so...Based on Howard Tayler's words:
I have no shortage of ideas. They are like dewdrops, distilling from the atmosphere onto my leafy green brain each morning. I’m fairly sure your brain is the same way. If you don’t think you have any ideas, you probably just need to know how to look for the dewdrops. They’re tiny, they’re fleeting, but they glisten.

The roses were inspired by my buddy Steph, who did a painting recently with a ton of them. Everyone agreed that roses would be awesome for the background, so mine are heavily inspired by her queen of hearts painting here: [link]
Artwork done in colored pencils, watercolor and some unsuccessful tweaking in photoshop to try and make the sparkley dewdrops to show up better.

Amazing! The colour is so intense, but it's not gaudy or overdone. The details are amazing. It looks inspired and like inspiration. I can see how those words would have an effect. They're beuatiful

amazing, I love the character's hair and how it flows off looking kind of like a mixture sea weed and ocean, in a good way of course
the overall piece is great and inspirational to me, which is why I wanted to comment on it, but I just thought it could have been really cool if there were different things in the dew drops, showing different ideas, or maybe even just different coloured butterflies.

actually I really wanted to do the same thing, different ideas in the dewdrops? But unfortunately the biggest one is only like an eight of an inch big, and by the end I was so frazzled with colors that I just went with the easiest to do lol. I'll probably revisit this concept another time on a larger board.

fair enough :3 it is a great concept though, I think you could easily rework it without it seeming like the same image just on a bigger board, so I'll look forward to you revisiting this idea

*nodnod* I had several variations on the idea goign on, so I might play with the same concept but a different image entirely too. I've got to finish my commissions before i go on to that, but yeah I was *totally* on the same thought as you. Originally I wanted to have like.. littlelandscapes and mythical creatures and all kinds of things in those dewdrops, but exectuting that that small was.. yeah not happening. Soon though!
