A beautiful piece, I enjoy the loose and free feeling the painting has, it isn't bogged down with too much detail and perfection and that suits the atmosphere well
The colours are strikingly subdued, lovely and soft there's no need for masses of colours to entice the viewer in.
I adore how the edges seem to be a bit darker, almost having a vignette effect but not quite, it's very subtle.
An hour and a half well spent, we can only imagine what you could produce with hours of painting

And it is a damn shame you haven't painted much lately, too! Even in thirty minutes, you're producing quality work like this and we already know the kind of wonders you can create when you spend just a few hours on a piece. Your art's been missed!

I like the loose, painterly feel. Most of your stuff is so refined, it's nice to see something more spontaneous.
