Feline-based kirin that I sketched in December last year and finished inking yesterday. 0__o There are several spots on the kirin where I messed up, though overall I like it.
I may color it eventually.005 Micron on pen / marker paper.

Oh yeah! But if you color it, play with a printout -- keep the line art pure as an image too, because it is spectacular in black and white. And because you could have fun with different color schemes on something this complex and perfectly drafted. I love this original creature.

My god that's an awful lot of scales. *pokes them* I love how you put thought into genuinely original anatomy for fantasy creatures, and, for that matter, have this creative of them. Man. *shakes head* I dig all the long fur in contrast to the harsh scales.
It looks awfully front-heavy; the thickness of the neck seems a little excessive for the weight of the head and it's odd that his front legs, which should be bearing significantly more weight, are thinner/less muscular than the hind legs. Still, it's no too big of a deal, and I would dig seeing this colored
Which reminds me...would you be horribly offended if I had a go at coloring some of your lineart? Just for fun, because I'd be rubbish at it, but I might throw in some solid, interesting creative description while I'm at it
