Razorback!!! Really? Yeah, well, the same friend of mine who had me do 'Alfula' knows that I take it as a challenge to do convention sketches of little-known or ridiculous characters and try to make them look cool. So, he thought Razorback would throw me for a loop, but, oh contraire!Razorback kicks ass!
C'mon, any lughead with the stones to put a wild boar's head on his own head and call himself a super hero must have SOMETHING going for him? He kinda reminded me of the Juggernaut, only with tusks and bristles, and thought that the obvious pose would be the charge!

P.S. There's a Nova out there somewhere I also did this weekend that I'd love to post if I ever get a scan of it sent to me.

Never really knew the character before this weekend, but he sounds like a vengence-bound misguided vigilante. They call Punisher a 'hero' for that.

Actually, Razorback is a character from the late 70's (his first appearence was in Spactacular Spider-Man #13). You can get all the info and stuff on him right here: [link]
As for this character not being a challenge to old J-Man here, well, I guess I'll just have to dig into my back issues, until I find one that is.

Is this guy from the 90s? The first thing I thought was 'The Lion King meets Marvel's Rhino'. Badass image, but also slightly creepy in a goofy way. I mean, it's a dude in a boar suit.

Yeah, 70's, as expounded upon below. The ref's provided were from a Marvel characters handbook and a few of them were done by John Byrne, and the ol' Pig Skin looked pretty good there actually. Just tried to bump him up a notch. I've seen scenes of wild boars charging on TV before, and laughed a bit at first, but then began to respect the gore of the boar a bit more as I continued to watch. Tried to funnel that respect into this sketch.
Now, RESPECT THE RAZORBACK!!!!!!
