Shot 2 from a series featuring our new kitten, Bianca. I know a lot of people don't pay heed to pet photos, but I've put quite some effort into this series and would love some good feedback.Thank you

I suggest trying a more frontal view, as opposed to a more topical view. Capture her face front on, or rather, with a little elevation.
Also, try centring her face, and using a shallower depth of field if possible. That way you can also get a faster shutter speed to help you out.
How old is she? Because one problem with kittens is eye colour, as it does not develope until after the six month or so, which is why her eyes show very dark.
Also, try getting a shot of her with the pupils dilated. Just to give it that extra "aww" factor.

This was done outside the house. Good lighting and she just ate which made it easier for her to be calmer. hehe
