More PS/tablet noodling. Controlling the color went better this
time. I was surprised that I couldn't paintbucket the background without coloring the other layers as well - I even put a base color on the face for what I thought would prevent it being paintbucketed
anyway didn't work. Did I do something wrong, or can we even do this? 
OH! I referenced this stock of a weary guy in what seems to be a Dr Who scarf . . . hope he's not dead . . .

I took the title to mean that he's surrounded by dreams/thoughts of Lily. Reading the comment I see that's not the intention you had. Still, I guess it could be interpreted that way, right?

Gorgeous! And this really does fit well with the emotions/symbolism that Redon portrayed in his work. The striking red against Snape's white/black is just beautiful and the yellow streaks make it even more eye catching!

Stunning! What I love about your digital paintings (as opposed to so many others I have seen) is that you maintain the expressions of the characters and the poetry of the art. What I mean is, they never come across as lifeless, bland, or 'digital.'

Thank you, that means a lot to me. I dislike how flat and thin digital looks compared to Traditional work, and have been trying to overcome that aspect of digital painting. Of course, I have miles to go . . . but thanks much, that's encouraging to hear

I enjoy your work because it reminds me of illustrations. You have a delightful and dark way of creation. I hope you don't mind if I watch you. I hope you don't mind if I say illustrations, but that is one of my favorite types of art. They are so intricate and full of life even at their darkest hour.
