Very realistic, the water is a killer, I imagine it was tough to do with pencils.

Thank you !
I submitted this drawing in 2006 and I think I might have drawn it in 2004. I don't remember actually drawing it. I try to make things as simple as possible.

The water is unbelievable!!! Best I've seen drawn (or painted) yet.
I love the whole picture. So realistic.
What pencils do you use?

I must admit that I, at first thought this was a photo. It took me a few moments before I could see the pencil-lines.
This is stunning, utterly beautiful, the colours are vibrant, yet gentle, and the water is ridiculously realistic.

What proof would you have that it was?
A big statement to assume, without evidence.

SweetCherriLove In reply to AuroraDark [2008-05-13 07:00:27 +0000 UTC]
Sure, but it is just my opinion.
Maybe i'm wrong, all i said was, i wasn't convinced. Without evidence? It isn't my piece of art, so i do not know how he came to it or how he 'drew' it. I don't need to produce evidence to have an opinion.

AuroraDark In reply to AuroraDark [2008-05-13 05:40:48 +0000 UTC]
Well, unless you're claiming that he used a photo reference, which is very likely. (not that it detracts from the skill in the art..)

Wolphpack In reply to AuroraDark [2008-05-14 16:21:46 +0000 UTC]
I thought it may be a photo as well... I'm sort of confused as to why his submission contains EXIF data:
"Picture
Make: FUJIFILM
Model: FinePix4900ZOOM
Shutter Speed: 1/64 second
F Number: F/2.8
Focal Length: 9 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Date Picture Taken: Mar 25, 2000, 7:04:32 PM"
As far as I know...that sort of data is only included when you submit a photo....

AuroraDark In reply to Wolphpack [2008-05-14 23:42:50 +0000 UTC]
Maybe a photograph of the drawing? Could be possible, if he didn't have a scanner...
(and generally, photo manipulations don't contain that information)
