Description Hey

I based these ones primarily on a Desert Rose and Baobab, but also on barrels, and those old african water pots.

Water Store - Gradually recovers HP in intense sunlight.

--------------------

Basic Stage: Barrose - The Cask Pokemon
Type: Ground/Grass
Ability: Thick Fat/Water Store
Name Meaning: Barrel-Rose
Evolves: lvl 50

BARROSE live in dry regions, with little water, and so; when the rain does fall, they store as much as they can in their thick trunks. The flower atop its head has a spicy fragrance.

--------------------

First Stage: Baobloat - The Baobab Pokemon
Type: Ground/Grass
Ability: Thick Fat/Water Store
Name Meaning: Baobab-Bloat

Though it may look more like a rock, it is actually a type of plant. Its enormous trunk can hold as much as 3000 gallons of water. The giant flower on its head attracts pollinators from all around.

These Pokemon have been designed by me. Please do not steal or use them without my permission.

No worries! If you have any strong feelings about how their stats / movesets should be let me know.

Awesome design! I like how you actually didn't try to animalize it a ton, but made it kind of a "non-traditional" (can't think of a good word) creature. This has got to be one of my favorite fakemon lines ever!

Yeah The 5th generation pushed the levels that bit higher, which was good in making you train more to get stuff to evolve.

For some reason these reminds me of the Peahats from the Zelda series, especially the ones from Twilight Princess. They have a similar shape, with a big trunk/roots and a little plant on top. Do Barrose move? And if it does, how?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshKH92 In reply to Atari93 [2012-02-06 19:30:39 +0000 UTC]

Was the type order intentional?
Cause I love it
Grass as the second type is so rare (even tho its kind of vague where the line is), I like seeing that.
Type obsession aside, Like the design and concept too.
Could even work as one of those pokemon that have trigger encounters. Check a plant pot and turns out you're battling this thing o:
