Doodle--err... i mean... COLOR EXPERIMENT.So in order to make myself feel better about such doodles, I call them COLOR EXPERIMENTS cuz that just sounds cooler. And more productive.
Sketched in Painter, and mostly colored in Photoshop. Time to completion: Mweh, maybe 2 hours?

seems like a rather successful 'colouring experiment' to me! You're right - this is really an rather ordinary picture, except for all the lovely colouring. Love the mixture of greens and purples, and the light sourcing.

Whoo hoo!^_^ That's gorgeous!^___^ The lighting is beautiful, the nymph is beautiful (a beautiful nymph! Who would've guessed?), and wow, that title....! It fits perfectly! *ogles* My favorite part is the silky sheen of her hair and the lick of flame amidst the water. You do textures really well, it takes my breath away.^^
...I think I'm adding it in my favorites. What a lovely picture.^_^

Wow... The color scheme is really good in here... harmony, softness, good choice of tints, and a quit subtle way of applying them over the whole picture. Having the outlines in blue too adds to the inherent harmony (black would indeed have been too hard for such a picture...). Oddly enough, I just think that said outlines are a bit too 'strong', maybe... strokes a little softer would have worked better. But it's just me. Very good pic, anyway
