Description
I said I would hang up my hat and give up on rping... However I continued to watch A group I used to be in and saw that they have added Twili as a race you can use. So yeah back on the rp train I go! So I present to you my app for my return to the group. He is a rework of an Old twili character I had.
Edit: I had a long break from the group, so decided story wise Akkad when away to do some training as he felt he wasn't good enough to be a guard. So this is the result.
Edit 2: Updated his app as I have returned again, well more rerolled back to his original image but gave him a different outfit.

Personal Item:
His personal diary/journal/notebook. Inside can be found sketches of people and things he has seen with notes usually surrounding said images. Good luck reading them though, they are in Twili.
Aspiration:
To live to be free to make his own choices in life and to see the beauty of Hyrule. To help those who want help.
Personality:
Loner - Due to his upbringing, Akkad tends to keep to himself. This does not mean he purposely avoids people. Oh no, quite the opposite. He loves meeting and talking to new people he just doesn't by nature actively seek them out.
Stubborn - Once this Twili has made his mind up there is no going back. He will follow his choice right to the very end.
Calm - He rarely loose his temper and takes each event that happens in his life with a calm demeanor.
Open Book - Akkad will openly talk about his life and his feelings. This also makes him honest to a fault and a terrible liar. 'No point holding such things back, not good for you.' he would tell you. He can keep secrets however... just terrible at hiding the fact he knows it.
Helpful - This Twili will go out of his way to lend a helping hand to anyone, not just his village. If they ask for the help that is.
Curious - He love learning about the different things in Hyrule. Especially the people and their ways. After all he is new the Hyrule and has found out about so many new things already but its the tip of the iceberg. He's been in Hyrule long enough now to be able to tell when most things told by him are true or not.
Bookworm - Akkad loves to read books, it's how he learns about the world and he likes to relax by reading more... fictional items.
History:
Twilight Realm
Akkad hails from humble beginnings. Youngest of three, he was born into a family of Twili'kols in the lower class of the twilight realm. Just slightly better than the slums though. He would become the favourite child of the family though due to not only him being born the most humanoid but also he had great magic potential as well. They hoped to use him to elevate their status.
Growing up, he spent most of his time at home. His parents insisting they he stayed at home so he could be prepared for his 'debut' into higher society. Sheltered away from the world with only books to keep him company and the occasional visit from a shadow mage to teach him to use his magic. Rarely did he venture outside. But even in these younger years he long for freedom. To mingle and befriend people and more importantly to see and explore. But alas his family had other idea and would try to remove these ideas from him. But they would not succeed.
He would endure this grooming for decades until about the age of twenty-one. When he just got his stuff and left while his family slept. He would eventually end up in the slums where he would make his home for the next six years. Yes his family tried to find him but thanks to the magic he had been taught, they could not find him. Well his sister did due to being a shadow mage herself but out of all his family, she was the one who was against the whole grooming thing and decided to keep where he was a secret. She would however still come to see him every now and again to make sure he was alright.
He would settle in surprisingly well. He would use what he had been taught to help those in need. Focusing on the making of potions to help the suffering and becoming quite the expert on the matter. He would become a much welcomed addition to the slums and its residences. Some would even call him the Sol of the Slums due to his unusual cheery personality. But it was not enough for Akkad. He wanted something more.
He had heard rumours from the people that came to him that the Traitor Loq often came to the Slums in disguise. He had heard many things about this Loq. The former Royal Judge of the Palace who sided with the Realm of light. A man who had been apparently executed but was still alive. A curious thing that did indeed interesting in his eyes. What interested him more however was that apparently he was looking for fellow Twili to come and help defend 'Hyrule'. The historical name of the Realm of light. It was this that would lead Akkad to search for this man for in his eyes it was a ticket to a new horizon and a new adventure.
It would take many weeks until he was able to actually find a way to Loq. This took the form of his small group of rebels who would eventually take Akkad to him. Loq would be ask him three question. Why does he want to leave the Twilight Realm? Why does he want to come to Hyrule? What does he intend to do once he gets there? Akkad would at first pause at these questions before giving one answer to these three questions:
"There is nothing left for me here. I have lived a life where I was groomed to be nothing more that an pawn in a attempt to elevate status. I ran from that life and have help those that have needed it it but its not enough. I want to live, to see, to feel and to learn. To admire the joys of the light, to be part of it, to help it, to protect it and those that lived there."
Loq would warn him of the vast differences of the realm of light, repeatedly, throughout the whole thing. More importantly that it was a one way thing. Akkad could not return. This did not deter the Twili for his mind was made up. To up and leave for a whole new world and never return? In his eyes it was better than anything he had here and even better he could get away from his family for good. There were downsides of course, the loss of his shadow magics being the biggest. He did like floating around and would miss this. However there was more reasons to go than to stay. With this, a decision was made. He would go and Loq would take him there.
Hyrule
He expected it to be different but nothing could prepare him for this. So many colours, shapes, sounds and smells! All so new and different. Some good, some bad, some awful. But the thing that stuck him most was the night sky. Oh so very different from the Twilight Realm and oh so beautiful. It was one of the first things he saw and one he would not forget.
After this first impressions of the realm. He would then listen carefully to the information he would be told by Loq. Basic things like what the dangers are, who and what the other races are, the climates, the villages and things along those lines. Akkad would asked which one he lived in which was Rudania, so he chose that as he. After all he can explore at a later date.
He would soon settle in to his new home in Rudania with his new role as guard. He was now ready to make meet and mingle. To see more beauty of Hyrule and the most important thing, He was ready to live.
After a few months of doing his new job as a Guard, he felt like he was not up to scratch to defend his new home. So he decided that he would go on a few months of part solo training and part to see the rest of the lands that were deemed safe areas. That is what he did. For months he trained his body and mind in a way and had the chances to see the other villages as well. He has now completed his training and has returned home clearly changed. Physically definitly, mentally not so much but he is more willing to stand in the face of danger and not lose his head in the process. His Hylian cooking skills have vastly improved and he more or less knows what things are of this world now. He is now ready to protect his home and feels one step closer to being like the knights he used to hear of in his old fairy tale books.

Relationships:
* Loq - A fellow Twili and the one that brought him to Hyrule. He is grateful towards him for bringing him here and giving him a new start on life and for the occational visit he gets.
* Sahira - The first Gerudo he came across. She answered his questions about the Gerudo and he about his own people both to the best of their ability. Akkad still thinks shes the queen of Rudania even though he's never heard anyone else mention it, which he finds odd.
* Goblin - The first Twili he came across since arriving in Hyrule. Had a very deep conversation about the beauty of the moon... not the evil red one though.
* Ka'linko - Another Twili he has meet... unfortunately. He's not keen on this guy, well his personality. Thinks he's kinda pretty though but that's it.
* Taika - A Rito he has in fact never meet face to face but has been. A weird month that was. Anyway he does write the odd letter to her and plans to one day actually meet her.
