I love love the detail in the tree bark. The light in the background looks nice, like an aura surrounding her. Try to experiment with the burn tool. It will make the main focus really pop.

This one is an old one and I see a lot wrong with it, so I think I have learned more since.
As far as the burn tool I avoid that now because I am color blind and have found it changes
color in ways I don’t see until someone points it out. I might think something is brown only
to be told its red. That happens a lot.

Oh, I see! Well for being color blind, you sure know how to pick some nice shades! 
I appreciate your critiquing first. Not a lot of people like to give their opinions because they feel like it will offend the artist but you can either take it as a compliment or throw it out the window. In my case, the more, the better! We can only evolve in to something greater.

I completely agree about giving opinions, it is easier once you get to know someone a little.
It’s that first time when you are not sure how the person will react that makes it hard.
But we need to take chances, most people I have come across want feedback.
Give and you shall receive, besides there are a lot of great people you can meet here.
If we don’t take a chance then we don’t meet them.

I like this pretty much - the scene and the creepy Girl.
The colours are awesome, I'm just a Little bit disturbed by the two red trees on the right side.. the catch my Attention too much.
But anyway well done!
