Description Before you attack me, I loved the movie but the entire time I felt like I was high as a kite.


I should have known things would get wierd when I saw a CGI owl in a Jim Henson film (Makes me wonder what he could have done with CGI if he lived to see it advance... sigh RIP Jim)

Labyrinth belongs to Columbia tristar, Lucasfilm, Jim Henson entertainment or whoever owns it.

My roomie has a plausible theory that everything after the "I wish the goblins would" line is in fact Jennifer Connelly having a psychotic break.Β  She's spent the evening running around the house and garage, chasing an owl.

It explains a few things:Β  she hits her head at the bottom of the stairs, and everything is fine for a few minutes.Β  Then, mysteriously.....
Β THE ENTIRE CAST SOMEHOW APPEARS IN HER BEDROOM.

I think the most likely explanation is that Jim Henson, George Lucas, and Terry Jones all got completely smashed and woke up with the script for Labyrinth and went "Okay Jim will make the puppets and direct it, Terry will flesh out the script, and George will pay for it and get David Bowie to do songs."

I think I would've liked to observe the sight of Lucas, Jones, and Henson getting wasted together.Β  In hiding, a safe distance away from it.
