Recently got Illustrator *yay* and this is my very first image with it!!
I plan on having a 2nd version with extra edits in photoshop, so thatll be real fun.

Yea the other version isnt coming along so well. Im just not sure what to add to it.
Plus Ive had this total lack of inspiration when it comes to either Illustrator or PS. Its like my lack of knowledge with Illustrator has me feeling like I dont know PS either. Im trying to get out of this slump.

Feeling sorta... like... "What do i need such a HUGE software for??? I dont know how to use it ANYWAYS!"

And yours will go over, too.
You made some of the most interesting VectorArts i have seen so far, and you really know a thing or two about colors and such.
Really: You didnt get that DD for nuts, trust me!!!
Besides:
No matter if its Illustrator, Photoshop, Maya or AfterEffects or whatever:
These are just TOOLS... not more, not less.
And as soon as you get new ideas flowing in your head, you will get back into using these tools just easily and achieve something wonderful, i am SURE!
After all:
When a sculptor takes his chisel, and wants to sculpt just for the sake of using the chisel itself...
You get what i mean, eh?
Of course this is a rather sloppy comparison, because especially arts and such are rather an intuitive thing and a lot of great works have been achieved just by playing with said tools, but still, i think the chisel-comparison plays into your artistic block a little, too...
You want to use and learn Illustrator so badly, that it starts to block you a little, because you just dont have an idea yet, what you u want to make, maybe?
Well, doesnt really matter, iΒ΄m rambling here...
Conclusion:
Whatever it is, that blocks you and pulls you down right now, yoiuΒ΄ll get over it, soon, and i am excited, what you will come up with.
