Very pretty, though I don't think she's watching the moon so much. It's a lovely piece that I actually have already seen on a message board - which makes me think you've become quite popular. This is beauuuuutiful! I love the dimmed colors-- it really feels like night time, even without looking up at the sky and seeing there's a moon there. Plus all that wonderful detail in the foliage~
Goodness, I can't believe this is on 9x12" paper (or illustration board, rather). That's the size I usully work at, but I could never fit this much delicious detail into that amount of space!

YOU PAINTED THIS??? Man, this makes my notebook want to commit suicide. How do you do it? If I wanted to paint like this someday, and I do, what would you suggest? I'm in 11th grade, and I plan to become a doctor. As long as I take the college classes needed for medical school, I can take any other classes I want. So, basically I'm asking if this is something that can be taught. I know time and experience are a factor in this, but I'm a captive audience, and I would like to know what steps you took from the beginning of your path to the end. I'd like to learn from a master, but I realize you're busy and you have no obligation to write me a biography (thought I'd buy it if you did...)
