This is just so warm and wonderful. I really always love how well you combine the cartoon-style colors and texture of the characters with the lush painterly style of your backgrounds, and this is one of the strongest examples of it, especially since in both registers you are in especially strong shape. It's all at once so very gentle, and so very compelling. I'm also really loving how much of your own touch you bring to both characters here; the way Sonic's quills run together more than usual (like an actual hedgehog), the little detailing in Sal's boots 'n' hair...it's so perfect. <3

The fan of Sally's lashes and the perk of Sonic's ears are especially eyecating - they give such a lovely mood that the soft shading and little forest details really help seal. <3

I'm not exactly a sonic fan at this point in my life, but I have to admit:
The colouring in this? Almost flawless, it is really pretty and even if there is a lot of colors, you don't feel overwhelmed and every color seems to go pretty well with eachother
