Description 2nd attempt at faces! My friend said I could draw him for his Facebook avatar. He only sent a tiny reference photo, without much detail, but I used it to try blending my shading a bit. I didn't have any detail on the eyes or hair to work on, so had to make most of it up, but pleased with the result

Tried to take on board some of the feedback from my Megan Fox pic [link] , but the reference photo for this was a bit difficult

Looks good! Only thing I would suggest is more highlights/white space... putty rubber used softly is good for doing those at the end along cloth folds and cheekbones etc.

Thanks Yeh this I did a while ago now as my second attempt The main problem was my reference photo He only sent me a small black and white fuzzy one from his iphone Not the best to try and draw a portrait from heh. The next will be much better I hope!

Thought I'd chip in

I can see the improvement in the skin tones...there's more contrast in this drawing, the hair is good too I would say that the jacket needs more contrast as it's a bit flat in places, something like darker shadows would help...I likes me some dark shadow.

Thanks The main problem here is I got given a small 100kb jpeg in black and white off his FB Not much detail to go on hehe Yeh I was rushing the jacket to finish in honesty, as it was only for an avatar

Couldn't help doing a bit more detail tho.
