I've given up on them keeping to the books (especially since they are entering TWoW/ADoS territory), so I just see them as two separate things-book and show. BUT if D&D decide to give me SanSan in a few years and GRRM doesn't, Β I'll be happy with them

well i think they've actually done a fairly good job though, with the adaption, but mostly with the first season. i'm worried about how annoyed i am that they're changing more and more. (Shae being handmaiden to Sansa, Ser Barristan aka Whitebeard, the freakin kiss between Dany and Jorah) but yeah, that's probably a good way to see it, but the show has definitely helped me imagine like the places and the characters, even if i do imagine them a bit differently. of course, i wish they could think a bit more about the details that make the magic that is ASOIAF, like the costumes and stuff.Β
haha yeah i can't really feel anything over SanSan, but i feel the same way about Jorah and Dany.

Yes, the first season is almost verbatim to the book. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, the costumes, set design, actors cast-they've done a great job, so I'm looking forward to season 4.Β

I know what I know, but the privy scene might very well replace it, since it's a bit more.. powerful. Then again, that will be difficult since they could pull a "Red Wedding" like last season, i.e. Something great and big, and than the last few episodes ,while still good, lose their power a bit. To me they where.
