Description
Grul gra-Maluk the Orc magician, Edwyne Fierce-Heart and Frea Fierce-Heart the Nord warriors (though with Edwyne, there's a bit of Redguard in there as well), and Eska the Argonian leader of the Dark Brotherhood! And yeah they could be related. Eska has no idea about his biological family. He was given away as an egg and raised by Bretons.

Geez, that little egg has gone on quite a journey, huh? Archer here's kinda in the same boat; he got kidnapped as a child in Black Marsh but managed to escape, and got himself adopted by human parents in Cyrodiil. He still doesn't know his biological parents, sadly.

That it did! One of his fathers got the egg on one of his many journeys, from a former slave who had fled Morrowind but turned deathly ill and couldn't take care of it anymore.
Fortunately, Eska's Breton fathers took good care of him and were the best parents he could've wished for ^^
Was Archer happy with his parents?

Yeah, he was happy with them. I'm sure he was pretty scared at first, but his adoptive parents cared well for him. He had a Nord mother and a Breton father who loved him very much, and he grew to love them the same way. Unfortunately, given Archer's upbringing, he's usually been ostracized by other Argonians because he's so different, sadly. Archer'sΒ more like a human than an Argonian in terms of his behavior, speech, and psychology... he evenΒ ended up falling for a Nord woman when he went to Skyrim.Β
How did Eska end up in Skyrim?

Well the Bretons who raised him are Reachmen, so he grew up in the vicinity of Markarth!
The fact that he hasn't met a single Argonian or even seen the Blackmarsh leads to the fact that he feels both disconnected to Argonians AND humans, which is. Kind of a huge issue for him that is explored in the novels I am writing ^^

Yeah, that's definitely understandable. Poor Eska. He should really get a hug.
Actually, I'm also writing a fic for Archer, but more people probably know him from the Skyrim comic series I have for him here on DA.

The Forsworn didn't exist when Eska was little yet. The Markarth Incident happened after he had left home already, but yes, one of his dads is a Forsworn Briarheart by now.
Eska definitely should get a hug, but whether he'd like it is a whole different matter

Indeed. Archer has certainly developed quite a lot as a character from when I first imagined him. I thought I wanted him to be a kind of lone-wolf assassin, but instead he ended up being a friendly, optimistic warrior/archer. It's a wonder how drastically they can change, huh?
I wish you best of luck in your writing, by the way. Though, if it's as good as your drawing, I don't think you have anything to worry about at all.
