Did this awhile ago. Draco from Dragonheart, one of my favorite movies and one of the coolest film dragons. A colored pic of him was long overdue, though I consider the outcome questionable. I really had trouble with his mouth.Prisma colored pencils on stonehenge paper

Saw it on Pinterest (Where it was propertly linked to this page!), where it is part of the moodboard for my Dungeons and Dragons character Mirathal, an elven druid.
She met a Dragon once (a brass dragon though) and I to 100% imagine him looking like this.

When I first watched the movie and he was talking about the stars before he died I couldn't help but look at the stars for him the next time I was out at night... gosh what an awesome movie!

This movie was my fav movie when younger (and still is) He is by far the best dragon in a movie in my opinion. They didn't make him out to be like most movies or books portray dragons to be.

The first movie dragon I ever loved. Before Draco, I used to imagine Dragons as all evil monsters and all dragonslayers as good. Dragonheart changed my mind, now I love dragons and have a large collection of Dragon figurines. Draco showed me not every dragon is bad and not every dragonslayer is good, as is with any sentient race.

Yup, and even if they weren't sapient, if dragons were real animals they wouldn't be evil. No animal is evil, morality doesn't exist in the natural world.

Essentially dragons are winged horses with built in flamethrowers if they can be trained.

Yay, Draco! I don't blame ya for struggling with the mouth, they had to do some weird things with it to give an animal with a snout lips that can synch to Sean Connery's voice.
