WHOOOOOAAAAAAAAH!
WHAT IS THIS MADNESS!?

You know how I said I wanted to draw Oot stuff again. Well, I was tired of making link all cutesy and animeish so I sat down in front of youtube (like I don't do that anyway) and STUDIED THE OLD 3D MODEL. No one had references up online so I had to go off of cut scenes people have put up. oh boy. His nose. I swear. HIS NOSE. I cant believe I was able to draw it. Not only that, it looks natural.
well... It might to me since I've been staring at it for 3 hours.

can you believe it only took me 3 hours? he he he

but, yeah. There it is
in honor of the remake, I give you N64 link. sure the character art is nice, but it does have a few differences from the game model. This is the link we all remember.



oh! and guess what? this is my 100th game fan art. I really am a doof.

Oh gawd his nose XD I remember when I first saw him as an adult after pulling out the Master Sword...I hurked when I saw his nose XD I went and grabbed the little pocket guide that comes with the game to reinstate that "fangirl" feeling...because the ploygram figure on the screen was not working for me XD

This is so good! I think it's awesome that you kept the pointy graphic appearance. It has a lot of charm to it. Looks cold in there, great job on the blue shades! His nose is cool, it really gave him a matured look...I wonder if that's why they did it? Since the change is sudden they wanted to make the age more obvious? I first played this game about 6-7 years ago when I was 11, and I referenced the screen while at Lon Lon Ranch to draw young Link and kept the game look too.

I don't mind the new design. I think it's really pretty. There's just something about the old blocky models that I cant let go of.
