ITs really too soon for me to make a decission. LEt me air out my thoughts on the 4 Yonkou and I sum up at the end:

SHANKS= No, simply NO
Luffy wants to surpass Shanks but is still friendly towards him, he wouldn't want to bring Shanks down.Yes Luffy wants a crew stronger than Shanks but he won't accept help in that, he wants his crew to be strong enough. Even when theya re strong enough, I think it will be "friendly" fight as in they will be testing their won strength then they will party.

BLACKBEARD= Plausible, esp if its long term
I WANT BB to be taken out fast and permaently but Oda has shaped him into being a very strong and evil opponent. I think BB will be around for a while, likely until the end. However that doesn't dismiss the possibliity that the target is BB.

It would actually be smart to create an alliance to take out BB, though that would mean the allaince would be in effect for some time. Luffy has learned some vaulable lessons through Impel Down and Marineford War. One of which no matter how strong one is, sometimes you need allies, esp if the enemy is very strong or has a lot of numbers. Luffy learned in ID that he didn't have enough allies to reach Ace in time before the transfer to Marineford.
SO I think Luffy would accept an alliance to take care of BB.

KAIDO= Not likely
Luffy only knows of Kaido's name as the one to destroy Moriah's crew...and that is it. There is nothing right now to link them.

Oda is not likely to give Luffy 2 top tier threats at once. Even in Thriller Bark when 2 Shichibukai were there (Moriah & Kuma) the Strawhats only faced them one at a time. Only after Moraih's defeat did Kuma become a threat. And even then, Luffy was unconcious so he didn't face Kuma at all then.

With Luffy declairing war on Big Mom, I think that Oda will not have Kaido as a big part now. He may show up, there my be shirmishes, but I dont think that he's the target. THe only way is if things with Big Mom were put on the back burner and held off for some time. ... not a stong possiblity at all.

BIG MOM= the most obvious as many think she's the most likely since Luffy has already declared war on her. Some say that Law doesnt know about that but he is a Shichibukai, and they have access to resourses most pirates don't have. He could have gotten a black denden mushi and was easve dropping on recent events to see if he could get some leverage and overheard the converstation between Luffy and Big Mom. or it could be pure coinsidence

To sum it up, if its in the immediate future its likely Big Mom
if its furter along, it could be BB. It is possible the alliance is something that will pop up now and then with different stages where Law & Luffy work together, then after a plan is done, they separate for a time until next plan. Just because theya re allies doesn't mean that they have to be traveling together all the time. After all Whitebeard had allies ... 42 different crews in fact.

IF anyone reading this thinks it Shanks please, I'll respect your choise and allow you to give a statement that "It's Shanks" But do not go posting long paragraphs trying to argue, go to your own journal or art or a forum to do that.

My pages are not for debate. I will discuss things but I am tired of the endless back and forth arguing that is taking up some forums.
I come here for peace of mind.

Agree with your thoughts on shanks completely.

my bet on big moms as well

though i think it would be interesting if luffy decided to actually make an enemy out of Kaido despite never having any vendetta or personal dislike of the guy, as this would mean that he's accepted the fact that he simply will have to take down people he's never been in an antagonistic relationship with before(as compared to his previous strict only attack when attacked/insulted yourelf/his crew) as this would show that after marineford he's grown as not only a person, but also as a pirate(one of his more interesting features, has always been that he's fully aware of what a pirate actually is, despite his whimsical and funloving nature)

as for BB... no i dont think so, or rather if it is, im absolutely certain the plan wont succed, the reason being that im 100% sure that BB WILL be the final antagonist.

speaking of the whitebeard pirates, what do you think their current status is? after the last cover shot im under the impression that Marco is finaly making his move to regain the crews old status, but on the other hand marco could have been to the grave alone and the crew could actually have disbanded following WB's funural(man i hope not, i really love those guys ), which would be a really sad ending for one of the most likable bunch of manga characters ever.

It was a popular theory with some people that the Whitebeard pirates would disband. I never thought that as it would be an insult to their pop, Whitebeard. I would think they would keep the family together and are still called Whitebeard Pirates.

I think its likely they tried to hold onto the old teritory but their grief, the other rivals, and BB (as he start to make his bid for yonkou)started to harras them. They are likely smaller than they once were.

I am hoping that they are still a major crew in the New World. IF they or some of their allies raelly do need to be allied with a Yonkou, then they would be allied with the Readhairs.

Some people tried to say Marko would join the Redhairs. I don't, as he's the next leader (after Whitebeard) of the crew.

It seems you believe that Marco was one to visit the grave I believe its likely too. In the Arlong Park forum many people think its Sabo, some going as far as saying "Oda's giving proof there". I don't think so. The origianl version has a lot of test over the the right side of the crate and middle of the 2 graves. There is one German version of the translation that 'claims' to have three cups but I don't see it in the original unedited version. Some poeple forget, and other ignored one person that pointed it out, that this one cover came out a day after the English verson did on that site and could have been ...edited.. by someone who THOUGHT it should be 3 cups but allowed their own wishes to bias what they thoguht they saw.

Its likely a single cup we will have to wait for the official books to come out or for Oda to print it without text on the image to resolve the issue. But I do think its likely Marco that used the crate at both graves, moving it to be in front one, then the other as he talked to the graves.

I didn't touch that before because as I said before, I'm not wanting others to read then try to debate the thing here. I don't mind anyone saying "I believe its Sabo" but I don't want them to fill up my pages with endless arguements over the issue, they can go to some forums or their own journals for that.

i agree with you in why i dont think theyve disbanded, though my viewpoint is probably a little more extreme. i regard them dissbanding as basicaly the WB pirates giving their Dad the finger, as his last order to them as a whole, was literarly that they were going to go to the NW and start up again without him. to ignore this order would basicaly addmitting that WB(and the other poor souls that fought alonside him at marineford) really did die for absolutely nothing.

as for allying with somebody else or being weaker....
i dont really think Marco would ally with anyone, but the only real piece of evidence we have for or against this, is that whoever it is that now rules the WB pirates grave island, no one seems to have attacked at all.
as for their strength, i think the WB pirates are(obviously) weaker in terms of numbers, but if they have survived, im pretty sure that they either had to grow stronger or die(Jozu would for example have to adapt from losing an arm, possibly by arming himself(no pun intended))

as for three cups.... why wouldnt there be three if marco was there? i really dont think he's the kind of guy to reuse to same cup for two different persons. im currently coloring said page, but even the non edited version makes it impossible to tell if there are more than one cup. and the edited version has removed the flowers that was left on the gravesite, so i wouldnt put my faith in it.

LOL and the poor guy has no idea that the Strawhats can be worse than that!.

It reminds me of a fanfic where the Strawhats encounter the other Supernovas, Apoo was the one to realize what made theStrawhats so dangerous. He admits that all the captains that makeup the Supernova are crazy, the Strawhats though, the entire crew is 'bat-shit crazy' :LOL: as crazy as their captain
