Well, here is another upload from me and this time it's Shingeki no Kyojin! Probably one the best animes i've seen in a while (and probably the best coloring pieces i've done so far too
). If you have no idea what this anime is then go look it up
it'll be worth it. (i mean if you like gore and things that are just plain weird 
)I don't really draw much action poses but i thought this would be the perfect opportunity to go ahead and try it out. It's not perfect but, eeeh, whatever. I'm surprised on how well the characters fit so well together in one picture considering i drew them each on a separate piece of paper. I might consider uploading the sketch of Eren if you want to see the sketchbook vs colored version.
and i don't think i'll be doing this complicated a background again anytime soon. Like a good 70% of the time spent on this was doing the background -_- (All those houses! O.o)

Everything was drawn in Paint Tool Sai except the sun and lighting effects which was drawn in Photoshop.

This is sweet! The background work is amazing! Everything is in great perspective and the lighting is awesome! The only thing i would say is that you could have been a little more generous with the shadows considering how strong you made the sunlight behind them, but seriously though, you are amazing at digital art so shush your mouth! You do better on Sai and photoshop then people i've seen who have taken classes to learn how to use it <3 Keep it up!

The internet is my classes in learning how to use these programs. I don't do anything really special with the programs, i mostly just use (in sai) the airbrush tool, eraser, and transform tool for moving stuff (and lots of layering). I would probably need to take classes if i wanted to do something complicated like photo manipulation or difficult special effects, but my self taught knowledge works for me so far
I have a couple other halfway completed stuff on my computer that i probably won't upload but would be happy to show to you if you want to see them 
and don't worry i have more uploads coming soon. And when i say soon, i mean i have absolutely no idea when they'll be done

I don't know why so awesome work have not so much attention... sorry cannot understand that.
Your work is very nicelly done. You did over 9000 of detais on charcters garments and background... not to mention that the perspective and poses are splendid, especially in case of Eren. And i very like how fierce his eyes look
Armin and Mikasa are also done in great way... how delicate, almost girlish features of Armin contrasts nicelly with determination shown in his face and posture.
Mikasa's pose looks little off... yet, it reminds me of some predator on the hunt. And that seriously gives me chills.
About background... i'm simply amazed in amount on details in it.. and everything drawn in perspective!

I think it's funny how you think Armin looks kind of girlish. I actually originally sketched Mikasa in that pose (before i drew the other one) and instead of drawing another picture of Armin, i just drew over it on the digital version (saves time --and Armin looks kind of girlish to begin with anyway
and you're right Mikasa's pose does look a bit off (can't draw girls -_- don't know why) but there's always room for improvement
I'm still new to digital art and i practically teach myself, i tried a more realistic style with the background and, once again, i'm honored that you like it so much

Let me clear one thing: I absolutly don't think that slighty girly look is fault in Armin case... rather is just how he's supposed to be drawn. (To be honest while reading the manga i was thinking he were a girl... just few things were confusing). And yet he's badass in his own way.
And Mikasa's pose isn't so bad... i saw much worse here on DA.. drawing people in perspective is so hard (i failed that lot of times).
Honestly... i can't even say what's wrong in her pose...

I know here people who draw on computer by years, yet their works looks less proffesional than yours... and people who cannot do background at all.

i can't say what's off about Mikasa's pose either, i asked a couple friends who couldn't place it either. i was wondering if someone finally saw what i'm not seeing so i can fix it next time, because as you said; drawing in perspective is hard.

Yeah, opinions and constructive criticism are very important to moving forward with our works... practice is also important but mistake not spotted by us or other peopleΒ can be multiplied with just practice and any form of rating
