FIGHTING STYLE | Despite being a Seiren, Maehris is not a big fighter, but rather a healer. She does have a natural defense, which only really comes into play if someone physically assaults her: Maehris is able to concentrate and store stinging cells and venom from the questionable food her boss feeds her and can release this by physical contact. They are most concentrated at her ears and finger tips, but they are present all along her body. It is more of a self-defense mechanism than it is an attack.

B I O G R A P H YHitting Landfall
Maehris came from a small family of Seiren's that lived on the seas, lazing in the waters and skimming the great surface for deadly jellyfish to feast upon. However, due to a very lethargic lifestyle, they found themselves ashore or at least very close, many times. The first time Maehris came upon land she was amazed by the greenery around. It would take a few more landfalls for Maehris to sum up her courage and stumble onto land. After fumbling around for several days and eventually eating a few (very poisonous) plants out of starvation, she was taken in by her current landlady.

Maehris works as a Botanist in a small shop leased to her by a questionable landlady who may or may not be taking advantage of her, though she is oblivious to the fact. When she is not tending to plants or making medicine, she can usually be found in a small pond in the back of the store or studying in the foyer. When she is not too busy, her landlady calls her in to help out at one her many onsens or appartments.
