Oh dear, that's such an adorable little critter. Especially the middle photo just makes me want to reach out and pet her. Too bad i never saw my own ratties at such a young age, though even today they still make my heart melt. Rats of all ages do, anyway

I love all ages of rats, too! I don't think they're any less cute when they get big. It just means that there's more of them to snuggle.

Aw, Desperaux? Lol, thanks! I bet you could find dumbos in Australia! Just look around at different petstores or do some searching in animal shelters. There are probably a few breeders there too!

OMG! I'm totally in love. The top left hand pic is so cute, looks like she's praying X3 I'm gonna see if I can get a dumbo rat next time I want one. My friend mentioned them before but I couldn't find any.

I'm more hopeful for the next lot of rats I'll get, it hopefully won't be for at least another year since all the ones I have just now are relatively young, but I've managed to find a couple of breeders that aren't too far away at all ^_^ I'm so happy and hope to get my next ones from them instead of the pet shop.

awwwwwwwwwww so shweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive always wanted a dumbo but a) my mum wont lemme get another rat or any pet until im 16 and b) they dont sell them anywhere near me, and theres no adoption centre in a distance where the animal would get car sick on the journey home :'(

Really?? I drove across the US with three rats! We started in Idaho, then drove to Alabama. As long as you give them lots of moist fruits like apples and grapes, they do really well in the car.
