Description
Companion 'dragon' piece to the 'Song of Fire' [link] , this uses the same stampings, but in silver and mirrored from a different point.These dragons are in an oxidised antique silver shade, made matte by heat treatment and given a slightly frosted look. I've added glittering, iridescent crystal, dark silver beads and decoration, and a large vintage clear crystal - the ice jewel in the centre.
I can't work out which pattern I prefer, the dragons facing each other or facing away ....
A llama to anyone who can tell me why the jewel in this piece should possibly have been violet in colour!

I love The Song of Ice and Fire saga. I love fire, ice not that much. But I like this pendant so much more than its fiery companion. And the jewels in it shouldn't be violet
Colourless is fine, AB is nice, black obsidian is even better.

I made the fire pendant first, and only then thought how well the dragons would look facing away from each other as well, hence the two different patterns.
I reckon you probably know why violet may be associated with dragons

I like the placement of dragons on both. Such a tiny thing that completely changes the look of the pendant. You made a good choice with clear crystal. I think you can never go wrong with clear crystals. And sure I know why violet could be used, but I still think this is far better that that.
