One of those lazy days at the end of summer ... dragonflies flit by and seem to hang in the air, and the grass in the field has that yellow-tinged look in the late afternoon ...

When I saw this picture-frame type stamping it seemed to be crying out to me to be framing some sort of scene. While I was using inks on it, a field/sky view started forming, so I decided just to go with it. A dragonfly stamping from vintage Victorian tooling and a wildflower blossom - both inked by me - soon followed.
Deciding what to decorate the finished piece with was the tricky bit, but I eventually settled on these gorgeous Czech pressed glass drops in iridescent green-blue-lilac.

I've left the finished piece as a necklace, though will probably make some pieces along the same sort of theme and have some brooches in there as well.
