Compulsive - Unfortunately for her and anyone subject to them, Njaa has things she HAS to do in order to function (according to her). Most of the time it is uncontrollable but she can force herself to avoid doing them. It's just that most of the time she doesn't want to.

HISTORY
Pre-Group History: Born to the former King Matope and Kulea a Kuwinda, it was evident to anyone that Njaa wasn't exactly right. Her speech and motor skills were lagging far behind her siblings and it was only through her mother's patience and nurturing that Njaa was able to grow into a functioning young adult. Njaa managed to become more of a Kuwaajiri handyman than a take up a proper task; helping gather plants with the Daktari, patrolling and sometimes sparring with the Skari, and hunting with the Kuwinda. When asked what her delay was in choosing a single task she responded bluntly "I don't fit in anywhere nor am I desperately needed by anyone in the three tasks."

When the floods came she followed King Matope with the rest of her pride since it would be harder to survive on her own. Her mother died on the trip and, as she was starving to the point of madness, she participated in the cannibalism of the Maarifa and her followers. She didn't feel the same guilt as her pridemates when they came to their senses. The act saddened her but accepted that it had to be done for her own survival. That didn't mean she approved of the act. What good was a pride if all that came out of it was death at the fangs of one's friends and family?

Unfortunately the familiar whispers and hunger came again far too soon. Being large and stocky and too uncoordinated to hunt the swift game on the mountain, Njaa heard the whispers of the Tenth speak her name and promptly left the caves. The flooding and the scattered individuals of the rest of the prides prevented her from leaving though, and Njaa was forced to eek out a living on the edges of the Damu's territory. And with the flooding came the kings and princes of the water.

Thanks to her observation skills she managed to avoid the hippopotamus and crocodiles that claimed the new expansion of water, and with her strength managed to successfully hunt smaller crocs and even managed to snag large fish or young hippo on occasion. Eventually she caught wind of Queen Ujana's abolishment of the Tenth and cannibalism and tired of struggling on her own returned to the pride, significantly less worse for wear then many of her pridemates.

- Dislikes touching and being touched, except her hind feet. It causes her to panic. If another insists on touching her despite her warnings then she'll have to resort to violence to defend herself.
- Must dust off all four feet and legs twice before entering her/someone's den or personal housing location starting with the front left and working clockwise.
- Must immediately clean self of blood, hair, skin cells, and smell of other lions or animals if she's contaminated with them.
- Cannot handle children and adolescents at all and would rather stay safely in a hole than to try to interact with them.
- If she was faced with the choice of cannibalism or starvation again she would choose cannibalism but never again eat a pride mate.
- Even though she thinks logically, she still believes in the Spirits. Mainly because most lions don't have science and therefore the facts to use with logic (Logic is only as good as the information you have to work with.), but also because she doesn't particularly have a scientific mind (always questioning and exploring).
