I want you to know that I specifically created a merman-ish Ellgon guy in ode to your love of mermen, and for reminding me that I used to draw them fairly often as well. It's just been years.
Also, I haven't drawn him yet....but I'm working towards it. My urge and mood to draw is iffy and fleeting due to depression.
BUT I WILL GET AROUND TO SKETCHES SOON I SWEAR. g_g Believe it or not, stuff like "oh god, I can't decide his hair color" is a factor of why I haven't already done it. >>

:0 omg
thank you?!!! ;v;
when you do get around to drawing him please let me know/show me, i'd love to see uvu
i can so TOTALLY FEEL U BRO on the motivation and general iffiness of drawing, due to all sorts of stressful/depressiony things and just artblock in general. so take your time if you need to, i understand and am in a similar situation when it comes to making of the doodleses. :'>
COLORS ARE HARD TO DECIDE also. merguy up here was mostly someone else's suggested colors. and i just tweaked two of them so they fit together a bit better [in my opinion].
if you're confused about colors, there are two things i've found that work out: getting suggestions from others [whether they know what you're drawing or not. you can always tweak colors], and making a color layer, locking it, and just going wild with whatever colors you feel like until you start seeing something you enjoy. the latter option really works well and it can be really fun once the colors start working out.
or rainbows. rainbows are a legendary third option and always a good one. >v>;;;;;;;
thank you so much for the nice comment i really hope you can kinda get back into the swing of drawing. i'm trying to! uvu sometimes random doodles like this pop up and then it makes you feel better.
