08/20/1008 - Added shading to the characters, as I thought the lack of shading didn't match the fact that they're out in the dark.-------

Knight Sonic and Princess Blaze under the moonlight...
This is a drawing I've been meaning to do for a while. Now, while I'm a fan of many pairings... Sonic x Sal (Yay Archie!), Sonic x Amy, I admit I have a thing for Sonic x Blaze although it is not a canonical relationship.
It just warms my heart to see Sonic and Blaze share a romantic moment under the stars. And it's so cute to see Blaze turn away her head and blush in embarrassment at her hidden feelings.

I've took sometime to think this thew & i've desided to say...
There are times whan I Envey Sonic altho I also tend to grow jealus of him cuz of this he always gets to be with some of the most beautiful woman in the universe such as Blaze.
Altho Blaze may not see herself as Gorgus or beautiful or any thing like that but it's cuz of Blaze always being so hard on herself in live & never would be so bluntly blind on herself to let her looks get the better of her.
Shes always willing to face realiaty for what it is & never backs down from it.
Knowingly deep down inside rather she exsists or not may not matter to her cuz the fact that shes livein & breathing and is in her own fourm of reailaty ish all the prove that she needs to exsist.
We may watch her & Sonic from the fair growing concently jealus mabe like we do with all anime, Manga, and Comics.
But seeing Sonic kissing her hand makes my heart full with jeaulsy & sadness the fact that I don't exsist in Sonic's world.
It makes me jealus that I can't be there right now holding Blaze's hand in the morning sunset or underneath the stars in the night sky.
But than again even if I happend to exsist in Sonic's reailaty theres a less chance of Blaze ever willing to go out with me. For she has more of a sence seeing reailaty for what it really is inside of her..
Knowing this it makes me sad so but yet happy that her will is her own...
Mabe one day some day rather it's fantasey or realiaty real or not mabe Blaze & I could be together..

And Sonic kissing her hand kinda makes me Enveyus of him.. It's just.. idk.. I need time to think about it..

Why is Sonic so much shorter than Blaze? Sonic is actually taller than her. :/ Nevermind that, it's a lovely picture. ^^

I wasn't good at drawing Sonic more anthro and I drew Blaze too tall.

At this point, I had not gotten my proportions for a more anthro Blaze fine tuned, especially when it came to positioning her with someone who looks better as is, such as Sonic.

In other words, she was not meant to be taller. It was just difficult to proportion her to Sonic.

Hehe, the height difference occurred because I tend to draw Blaze anthro and had not yet mastered control over her dimensions, so she ended up too tall and shapely compared to Sonic. I'm sure that if I drew them now the height would be closer, though Blaze would still be far more anthro.

I like the furry texture, though the tones look a little dark and harsh on Blaze's face. The reflection on the marbled floor is a very nice touch. It makes me think of Aladdin when Jasmine and Aladdin are talking in the balcony of the palace before they escape for a midnight flying carpet ride.

this is was when I first really started experimenting with the furry effect.
I had not purchased my drawing tablet either, so this was one of the rougher pieces now that I think about it.
Hehe, I had never thought of Aladdin and Jasmine even though it's an obvious thing to think about when looking at this.
Perhaps I should draw a picture of Sonic and Blaze on a flying carpet?

Yeah, when I draw Sonic, I tend to draw him as he usually looks. But, when I draw Blaze in something other than a scene from a game I draw her more humanoid... The two, unfortunately, aren't always compatible.
But, I'm glad you like the details and what not. Actually, it didn't take as long as my drawings usually take. I guess because I worked on most of it while I was on vacation.
