My newest drawing, based on the final battle of Sonic RushAdventure. Super Sonic and Burning Blaze vs. the Egg Wizard.
It's finally here~
I've spent weeks working on this due to much laziness :3
That and school work...
I'll miss working on this. It was really fun, especially drawing
Blaze~ and Sonic. ^^
BTW, I do realize I had messed up on the gold on the
bottom of Blaze's cape. However, I liked it this way and
decided to leave it.
And the reason I have them so low (as their glows would've
looked better up higher) is because I spent weeks working
on Egg Wizard. He wasn't going to be blocked. Period. lol
That and I wanted Sonic and Blaze to be close together,
which would not have been possible without blocking
Egg Wizard.

It was, hehe. I got a little tired towards the end of it. I may revisit it, as I did with the Sonic Rush Extra Zone picture, but people seem to enjoy this one.

Hehe. You're not missing much, the Egg Salamander from Sonic Rush was a lot more difficult.

eh, for me there's a correlation between the difficulty and the appreciation for the boss battle. Except for the semi-final boss in Sonic Rush, I still hate him and his little lasers that follow you around and other cheap stuff >.<

I've never equated difficulty with enjoyment. If a game is difficult? Ok. If it's easy? Ok.
Though I tend to like games that aren't kicking my ass every second less. I like to make progress in my games, not be stopped and have to redo everything a ten times because some stupid enemy is extremely powerful or something.

That's true. My dad stopped playing one game of his exactly for that reason.
I guess I just hate to lose, so I keep retrying it to the point of frustrating. Which isn't good, but is satisfying when I finally get through. : 3

lol That's a huge difference between me and a lot of gamers. I don't play them to beat them and feel satisfied. I play them to play them and experience them. Nothing more. It's why I have 93 unbeaten games, because I'll move on to another game whether I've beaten a previous one or not.

I made up a character called Egg Wizard II, better known as Wizzy. He is a member of the Extra Zone Force, who are all robots based on extra bosses from various Sonic games.

Hmmness, I hadn't thought about that. Another friend of mine wants me
to draw the Egg Titan, but I'm not sure I want to draw any more huge
mechs any time soon XD
hmmness, but Captain Whisker and Johnny sounds pretty simple.
I'll think about it, and if I get a chance, I'll see if I can get a nice sketch
going. If so, then yeah, I'll draw it.

Well, I found the Egg Titan to be considerably easier than the F Zone boss
in Rush. That thing was murder.
I think the Egg Wizard was too easy though. You can beat him in under
2 minutes. That's not really a challenge. His music sounds really good, but
only when you listen to it on its own. In-game, it doesn't sound too good
for some reason.

Wow. o.o It looks almost 3-Dimensional... I can see your hard work paid off here. :3 You really outdid yourself on the shading here. That must have taken so long... but it was worth it, ne? The Egg Wizard looks fabulous. The shapes are really good... it looks like it could just jump off of the picture and come to life. Very well done.
