Andi is a kind-hearted woman who cares about her patients and wants to help them as much as she can, even if it calls for a bit of hard love to protect them. She may even be a little too trusting to those who show her kindness though but it can lead her to be fiercely loyal to those who she deems to be a friend! And she isn't opposed to occasionally putting her comfort aside to make sure someone else is feeling safe. She would even put herself in the middle of danger to protect them.

On the flip side though, Andi is shy and has a hard time opening up to others about her problems. Especially with her stutter that she had covered up for years. It still brings up a lot of embarrassment for her when someone learns about it, leaving it to be a very sore subject. And despite her protecting nature, she is easily terrified, especially for those who look more powerful than her.

Childhood
Andi was born just outside of Everstone in her family's small burrow like home. They weren't wealthy and often opted to live off the land most of the time, having a little garden where they got most of their food and a well they had built for their water. Andi, At the time, was the second child of the newlywed Mrs. Josephine and Mr. Fredrickson. She didn't have the chance to get to know her brother as well as her parents because, by the time she was around, he was off to live on his own in Tincaster. He did come to visit when he could, however. The Minncino loved his visits and when he was around she would often pay more attention to him then the ones who raised her.

And who could blame her? Sometimes brothers can be cool!

During her childhood, Andi's parents treated her fairly normally although they might have been a bit overprotective due to her extremely small size. She had a good relationship with them, however. They often took her out to small fairs in town and during the winter they would wrap her up in warm clothing and take her out into the snow.

Life at home was pretty nice! But at school, it was a bit different. She didn't have the same relationship with her teachers

Even at a very young age Andi had already developed a noticable stutter, it frustrated her and a few of the teacher she looked up to even if they wouldn't admit it. And while her peers had already gotten past that struggle, Andi's stuttering persisted and she felt like she was behind.

But as she got older, the reaction to it had gotten worse. She was bullied by her classmates for her stutter and it left her embarrassed by it.

She stopped talking ouside of home.

During that time she babysat kids to get money so she could save up to go to college, she already knew what she wanted to be.
A nurse, throughout her childhood many pokemon didn't treat her right because of her speech disorder.

Maybe she could treat other mon right instead.

Adulthood

She eventually collected enough money to get into a small college and stayed with her parents while she studdied.

It was a lot easier for her then in her old schools, not many mon were into starting drama but because of her earlier experiences, she still struggled to speak to many of her peers.
In all honesty, she was kind of afraid to.

And it led her to get speech therapy, it really only helped her cover it up but for the first time she felt confident enough to speak to others.
Even if it was in short and blunt sentences.
Her confidence about it only grew when other mon didn't even seem to know about her stutter.

She felt like things were finally starting to look up for her, she finally had control over her speaking and she didn't have to deal with anyone making her feel bad about it.
Because they wouldn't even have to know.

Disaster
That is until the disaster hit.

Even though she still hadn't been able to finish her studies, she was on the front lines with the professional nurses.
Many mon had been injured during the calamity and anyone willing to help was welcome whether it was doctors or anyone who could clean what remained of the hospital.
Everyone was needed.

While most of her roles were small, Andi honestly learned the most during this time. She has to help take care of patients and those who were grieving, learning how to have the best bed side manners she can muster up during these times.

Post-Disaster
After things had settled, Andi studied harder and harder.
She learned about the guild and she wanted to be the best medic they could have, she wanted to go out and help those who had been injured during their missions.

She knew about how dangerous their jobs were, many mon were most likely going to severely hurt, especially with how powerful the HoA was.

And Andi was determined so the moment the guild opened their doors to new members, she came running with her application in hand.
