Jayson Crimson – Captain RedYears ago, a squad of teenagers with attitude dressed in multicolored jumpsuits protected the city that Golden Mix now surveys. Captain Red was their former leader, but since their disbanding, he lives in a subterranean world underneath the planet’s crust, using parts of his giant robot to make a drill machine…to plow to the center of the Earth and destroy the planet from the inside out in an attempt to get revenge on the rest of the world for forgetting him and his once-mighty team! He may be insane, but underneath his shaggy patched-up costume and substituted helmet, the heart of justice that once beat inside him may beat again…

i like the shading here and i love the uniform... i don't like the mask though. it doesn't fit the costume. i also don't get the whole pointy knees thing.

That explains the difference in color.
When I first observed the picture I had wondered why it looked like a diffrent shade of red.
