Description
i've done all but the pumpkins and some detailing (such as parts of the secondary light source and all-around polishing).when i'm done, this deviation will be updated, so if you'd like to comment or favorite as if it were completed, that'd be peachy. it'll also be available as a print.
also, i've been staring at this off an on for weeks. i am thoroughly aware of its flaws.
..i've been feeling terrible lately. i hope you like this.

i really like this piece. her tail draping over the pumpkins looks especially nice. having the one jackolantern does make it seem pretty creepy. that and the cloudy sky. all the gold colors work very well together here. can't wait to see the finnished version of it. makes me think of the great pumpkin coming. but what would she do to him if she caught him?

i got a computer when i was in 6th grade, but i started drawing a few months before i joined dA.. so i've been at it for almost 3 years. things really picked up when i got a tablet last christmas.. most of my progress has been within the past year. nn;

er, it's not really an effect..? i sort of slowly built up the shading and highlighting with big airbrushes to keep it smooth, then added the harsher shading with the felt tip pen, in painter7.
