Description For a portion of my art trade with , he said he needed an model sheet for referrence.

Hopefully this fits the bill.

In any case, I had a ball drawing it, especially the expressions. Cody tends to be a rather grumpy character, and it was fun to play around with what other emotions he's got bottled up somewhere deep inside himself.

Drawn on a standard 8.5"x11" sheet of printer paper. Pencils: Pentel Techniclick II w/ .5 regular lead, and colored using the paintbrush tool in Photoshop. Nothing too fancy.

NICE work! you sure know how to handle the atonomy right! I especially like the high angle you chose on the coloured version of him.. that's a really difficult angle.. good job!

Wow, you do some great expressions. You have a really good anthro style, probably one of the best I've seen in a long time!

Oh no! he's been neutered! *points at nude poses*

Hehe just kidding. I love how your style can make the character look cute as well as realistically angry without the need of any exaggerated features. Great work

LOL

I didn't think about it that way. Thanks for the laugh. XD

And thank you for the compliments on my style and expression. I'm rather fond of how this one came out, too.

sweet, thats pretty good but usualy i like the views (front back profile) to be drawn with a ruler on hand but thats not a big issue ^^ verry detailed and shows a lot about the character. Hope you dont mind, I dont have an MP5 modeled so he'll probibly be weilding a P-90 in the render hehe

kliefox In reply to RyokuKitsune [2005-02-01 13:57:38 +0000 UTC]

Ah, ruler... I didn't have one nearby when I started drawing it. Well, my fiancee probably did, but I neglected to ask.

The P-90 would be pretty cool, or your HK-USP [link]
would be pretty awesome also, or if you just happened to have modelled a Sig P226 handgun, that would be even better. *chuckles* But I know it would be too much to ask to have you go render a whole new gun just for an art trade. The P-90 would be pretty cool, nonetheless, though that particular gun doesn't make an appearance in the story, that's why I was thinking about the alternatives, such as the USP

I still need to know what you want me to do for my end of the trade though, so that I can get started, though it looks like its going to be a very busy week for me at work (one guy's out on vacation for 2 weeks, and someone called in sick yesterday with a stomach flu), so I might not be able to get to it right away.

hey thats ok, i really cant start imedeatly too ^^ classes and all but i do work on personal projects in my down time between or before classes start ^^ thought modeling more props sounds cool I might just invest the time in making an MP5 or a sig p226 I might even be able to drop the model in CounterStrike:Source if i get around to it
