Why Silver as part of the Sinestro Corps?
“WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!” is probably what you’re screeching at your computer. Well I’ll tell you. Let’s go back to Sonic ’06 (are you already screaming in terror from the thought of that game?), when Silver met Sonic he had the full intent of killing Sonic if thats what it took to save the world. Sonic is used to avoiding danger with his speed, but when he was suddenly faced by someone who could stop him in his tracks no matter how fast he’s going, it freaked him the hell out. The only way Sonic escaped from that fight is when someone else intervened and Silver was distracted, other wise ‘ol boy would’ve been ended. With that being said, Silver has the potential, if he so choses, to instill great fear in others. And given the world he grew up in, I don’t think much would scare him either.

The Sinestro Corps original purpose is not just to go around terrorizing folks at random, but mainly, to bring Justice through fear (scaring folks into submission). It’s a very corrupt form of Justice, yes. That and they have a serious grudge against Green Lanterns.

Advantages over natural abilities?:
The yellow light that the Sinestro Corps wields is that of fear, those in the corps have the ability to instill great fear in others and are also respectful of that fear. I think Silver would use a combination of the yellow light and his telekinesis. Like Blue Lanterns, Sinestro Corps members can use their rings to search someone’s soul, find their greatest fear and use it against them. Their abilities are also very much like that of a Green Lantern. Fear is close to the center of the Emotional Spectrum, right next to Will, so Silver would have a clear head. I’m pretty sure Silver would be much more ruthless and willing to make scarifies more easily.

While wielding the yellow light of fear he would have significant strength and influence over Sonic, a Green Lantern. That is, if Blue Lantern Tails ain’t there.

Disadvantages?:
If one is to succumb to their own fear then you are useless. Hope can kill Fear, if those around you have hope and they are not afraid of you, then you have already lost.

Clothes?:
The Sinestro Corps is very unoriginal with their uniform, everyone pretty much wears the same thing despite how their body is shaped. So I let the same be true for Silver’s outfit.
