Why Rouge as a Orange Lantern?
The lady love jewels. She doesn’t do anything unless there is something in it for her in the end. Sure she ends up helping out for the greater good, but let’s face it, she would’ve have been there if she hadn’t been promised something in the first place. Anyone who is typically like this can become an orange lantern (well, technically you have to “want it all” but yeah....). There’s no need for a noble cause in this corps. Someone who is already greedy would become mad with an insatiable need to gain anything and everything. It becomes a sickness really.

There is typically only one Orange Lantern at a time, the lone wielder of the orange light being so greedy that they want the power of Avarice all to themselves. The only way to become a Orange Lantern, is to either kill it’s lone wielder and take the power for yourself, or have your identity, your soul, stolen by the wielder, in which the only way your soul would roam free again is as a light construct manifested in your former image whenever the wielder needs you for shit.

So in this case, either Larfleeze died or Rouge killed him. Otherwise she would’ve been an orange construct.

Advantages over natural ability?:
Since Rouge gained the Orange Power ring, she has inherited ALL of the souls that have that any Orange Lantern prior has captured, therefore she has an armada of “soldiers” ready to do her bidding should she ever desire to obtain something.

Disadvantages?:
As an Orange Lantern Rouge would care for no one other than herself. The Orange light of Avarice is on a far end of the emotional spectrum between Red; Rage and Yellow;Fear, Rouge would be an irrational mess most of them time. Only in the presences of a Blue Lantern or a Star Sapphire would Rouge’s greed be sated enough for her to use a bit of proper judgement other than, “IT’S MINE”

Clothes?:
Orange Lanterns have some consistency in their uniform..........I want her shoes...

I have no doubt Rouge would try to take the Master Emerald for sure, cuz lil’ ol’ Knuckles wouldn’t stand that much of a chance against a powered up Orange Lantern Rouge and her army...right?
