Why Blaze as a part of the Indigo Tribe?:
The Indigo Tribe is as mysterious and enigmatic as Blaze is herself. Those who are apart of the Indigo Tribe seem to always have a mysterious past, they never talk much, they are often the least reactive in a situation and more often than not have a keen since of duty (though that may be due to the emotion they wield but yeah). Blaze seems like a good fit for the Indigo Tribe. We’ve seen she obviously cares for others enough to bypass differences to do what she needs to do. Also she has been described as compassionate.

Advantages over natural abilities?:
Blaze already has pyro-kenesis in her arsenal, but I’m not sure how well that would work in space. As a part of the Indigo Tribe, Blaze would hold the power of Compassion and with it she too can heal the sick and wounded (similar to a blue lantern *Tails*). She would also be able to absorb and copy the primary abilities of the other ‘Lanterns, but only for a short time. Compassion can be a powerful emotion, as it is further away from the middle (green;will) and is in between Blue; Hope and Violet; Love. Because of this if Blaze sees fit, she would be able to make someone a slave to compassion, most likely someone who needs to see the error of their ways. However it takes a lot to do this and would require the rest of the corp.

Disadvantages?:
Because the Indigo light of Compassion is further away from the center it can take complete control of someone. Her judgement may sometimes be impeded, as not all forms of Compassion may seem just. Believe it or not but all the original members of the Indigo Tribe were some of the universe’s most cold-blooded, psychotic criminals and killers, whom were caught and forced to become the first members of the corp in hope that they would learn to feel great sorrow and regret for what they’ve done...long awesome story short, they did. Even though new members of the Indigo Tribe aren’t harden criminals, who’s to say if Blaze was or wasn’t someone who fell under the spell of Compassion and joined willingly. Don’t know.

Clothes?:
If you think the Star Sapphires have the most revealing outfits MAN ARE YOU WRONG. Members of the Indigo Tribe, men and women (or at least the two that are distinguishable as such) practically run around naked. I don’t know how those loin clothes stay in the right place all the time maaaaan...Also, to compensate for lack of clothing and official uniform, they have their symbol tattooed all over their bodies. I like Blaze’s thigh and legs.....

A certain Green Lantern likes to appear out of nowhere and harass the crap out of Blaze. He says he only does it because he cares...
