Ed looked smug.In Phylactery, six years have passed since the Promised Day, Ed got plenty of time to grow. (And Envy can't make himself taller because he's not a homunculus anymore. Sorry Envy!)

By fma 03 anime, envy is technically ed's older half brother, since envy is hoeinheim's son that he had with dante (who is a woman), so technically envy is height envious of his half bros *continues to laugh when writing this comment*

It was something that i thought of whilst thinking about the 2003 fullmetal alchemist anime, with the fact that hoeinheim and dante had a child that died in birth (sounds familiar to to 03 wrath) that they made into a homunculi known as envy (little did hoeinheim know repeated his experiment that failed at first, but with lust's help it was made into 03 sloth, so that means hoeinheim is very nervous that both his first son and 2nd wife have been made into homuculi), so i made the comment that ed was making envy envious of his height, despite envy being ed's older bro in the 03 anime, to which ed can joke about the fact that hoeinheim's sons having a gene that makes the youner sons taller than 1 whom is older
