I've been meaning to draw an African Wild Dog for some time now as I think they are gorgeous animals. Considering this was done from start to finish in a total of 3 hours I think it's turned out rather well. And it also shows I'm no longer shying away from my coloured pencils. XDPrismacolor pencil & 0.5 Copic liner, cartridge paper.

It's a shame these beautiful dogs are endangered. This is one of a million reasons why I hate the human race sometimes. We must all do something to help these beautiful animals from becoming extinct. At least someone hear my pleading.

Really nice. It obviously took a lot of skill. These guys are so hard to draw and color because of their complex blotchy patterns. You did a great job with this.

I really love the way that you blended the fur colors <3 African wild dogs are so gorgeous...and each of their spots and designs are their own, none look alike, that's what makes them so unique to me <333 and the fact that they're still living wild ^_^

I used to work with a pack of wild dogs, and have been looking for some good art of them, and the marking look exactly like Dinka, the female I got most attatched with.

Hey I found you because my friend RRT from FP sent you FPP and you think you didn't get it but she sent it and I believe her but ANYWAYS. I love African Wild Dogs. I drew quite a few myself but none of them came out this well. This is totally kickass! I had to fav it. It's gooorgeous!

I love the face and ears. This is definitely one of my favourite animals. Their fur is so colourful and ears are so big XD I have only drawn one once, but I should draw one again.

I honestly would have sworn that I had already commented on this...but I suppose I didn't, somehow, or it didn't send through right as my connection was wonky for the longest time.
Anyways.
This is simply fantastic. The anatomy is spot-on, and the coloring simply blows my mind. It's a totally accurate reproduction of coloration and patterns of an African Wild Dog...and there really isn't a thing I'd change, here, even if I could. It's a beautiful study of a beautiful animal
I don't know how much this means coming from me in particular, but I believe that any time you don't feel confident in your abilities and in your artwork, you should come back and take a look at this piece, and how strikingly beautiful it is even as just a scan. It's a testament to the true talent that you have...and surely means that you'll only keep on getting better and better.
